Episode 05

In this podcast, Todd and Julie Fisher, author of “The Resiliency Puzzle”, discuss the link between emotional well-being and resiliency. Todd and Julie discuss what it means to be resilient and how 21st century parenting practices have led to a decrease in resiliency levels for Gen Z kids. According to the American Psychological Association’s latest “Stress in America” study, 91% of Gen Z adults reported experiencing at least one physical or emotional symptom due to stress and only half of them feel like they know how to manage stress. Todd and Julie discuss why kids today feel less equipped to cope with adversity than previous generations as well as what parents can do to help their kids increase their resiliency skills to face whatever comes their way.
